What is VenaSeal?

The VenaSeal closure system is the newest FDA-Approved innovation in office varicose vein treatments. It involves the elimination of the diseased saphenous vein using a medial adhesive instead of heat. because the administration of the adhesive is painless, the procedure requires only one small needle stick to anesthetize the catheter entrance site. The need for multiple needles sticks to anesthetize the whole vein is eliminated.

VenaSeal Treatment

This new method has virtually no pain compared to heat-induced saphenous vein ablation therapies. It also has a decreased risk of blood clots and a decreased risk of nerve injuries. A compression hose is not always necessary after this procedure. The VenaSeal closure system has been clinically proven to be safe and effective.
